This reminds me of my cat that passed away when she was 18. Carl couldn’t catch a bird or a squirrel but, she saw a butterfly, game over 😂 Are they going after cicadas? Supposedly they taste like shrimp or some type of shellfish.

Yeah... but many live in apartments and tall buildings. Not very cat friendly in the streets with lots of traffic and people. Not to mention other predetors that would snatch them up. But yeah, 24/7 and never letting your cat go outside is crazy. Yet, I see why they do it.
