I loved him in the film. I think the casting was amazing for that film. All the people in the film were not just great dancers, they all got these very expressive faces and they were entertaining and remained in character even when they were in the background. Jacob, of course, danced and acted them all into the ground.

I remember when I was visiting a friend in New York I saw Jacob Brent running down the street and into the theater. I guess he was late for rehearsal or something because he was hauling tail! LOL. I wanted to stop him to get an autograph but decided against it since he was obviously in a hurry.

He's been my director, wonderful man. His organization and creativity is unmatched, having the ability to truly maximize individual strengths and minimize weakness. He can create some of the most amazing choreography with non-dancers that can easily rival professional productions with strong dancers.

Oh I love him in this! This was the second musical I ever saw on film, the first being Annie, and I instantly fell in love with the dancing like I'm not a dancer in the slightest and so I just loved how they could convey a story only through dancing and Mistoffelees was always my favourite character like to this day I can't name it but there's just something in little things he does like he's a drama queen lol but also just in the way that Jacob chose to play him xxx
