One evening I heard this "thump, thump, thump, CRASH" over and over, so I went to see what was going on. She'd stuck her head so far inside the container trying to get the last taste that she couldn't get it out, she was trying to run backwards in the hopes of escaping. I laughed so hard, then grabbed the container and let her pull herself out. She never did that again, but she still pulled the containers out and licked every part she deemed safe. :D

I can relate to the baby-proofing segment. If I open a lower cabinet, one of my cats will almost certainly go in for a look-see. If I don't notice them going in, and close the door, several minutes later I will hear a plaintive meowing that I have to track down.
