If you plan to go to Tokyo, Sensoji in Asakusa is a nice place to visit. It's one of Tokyo's most popular temples which is famous for the large lantern at the entrance.
Tourists like to wear kimono and walk around the area to experience Japanese traditional architecture and street foods there.
And Taisho era lace kimono is one of the most popular types of kimono in recent years.
