CATSKILL MOUNTAINS: Wild Trout Slam

Join Wild Trout Man and his Fly Fishing buddy John as they catch Brook, Brown and Rainbow Trout in a stunning Catskill Mountain environment. An Ausable Wulff dry fly, weighted Golden Stonefly, Caddis Pupa, Egg Pattern and a Squirmy Worm were all catching Wild Trout. A beautiful mountain stream with incredible geologic formations is the prime location on this day with trout feeding on the surface and subsurface in faster water. It was a great day of adventure fly fishing!!

Hey buddy!! I love a dry dropper especially on a smaller Class A stream. Casts easier than a strike indicator, gives a great drift AND it catches fish. That’s a winning combo working on the surface AND underwater. 🤠👊
