Hey Bubs! You’re growing! With his mama’s smarts, daddy’s common sense, both of their work ethics and that cuteness, the boy is gonna go far! Whataface! The cows were trying to get in out of the wind I betcha’, bulls too. The draws are a good place to do that. Angus the cow dog’s got more energy than Public Service Company! He’s a dandy. Hope you guys have got better weather coming up soon. Stay safe, stay warm. Thanks for working to feed us all and taking us with you Carson.

Your bulls are gorgeous 😍! No wonder you have so many nice calves. 👍 Speaking of beauty-Silas has a very pretty Mum. Glad the thumb nail was not as critical as I thought when I saw it 🙃. Don't mean to make light of your concerns just happy all the cattle were present and accounted for after all. That puppy could be named wiggles. I think even his toenails are wiggling. SO CUTE! Silas thanks for the smile even though you haven't been feeling well 😇. I had a great time at your ranch today. 🤠🐃🐕👶👨👩👦

Great video! I loved seeing the family. The mat that your son was on at the end is the same exact one my granddaughter Emily has! Now that i know how old he is i am having a lot of fun guessing what is next for him based on what Emily is doing now. She is about 2 months older than him. She is eating cereal (rice) now and has just started eating the baby mum mum rice teething wafers. God bless you and your family! I hope your weather clears up soon.

I use O No More to graft calves. It's a powder developed in Nebraska. I used to skin calves but it seemed I was always having to head catch cow and get em sucking. Never had a cow not take it and it's a lot less work. 👍

I am sure we will have a little snow another day. Silas is really growing. I think he is near 5 mths old. Glad you found the cows that were hiding. Hugs for Damaris . Thanks for another great video. Take care of Angus. He is full of fun.

Every operation is very different! I think they keep there cattle in barns but if we did that our cattle would be incredibly unhealthy and unhappy. Ours are bred for harsh weather conditions, big western country and resilience to predators. To keep them in a barn would be inhumane. Like keeping a person in a tiny padded room. But what they do works best for them and what we do works best for us!

Those used calf-hides sure don't smell too good! Calves always seem real happy to be rid of it. Been wondering if the ranchers in SD like fried wild turkey w/gravy as much as MO ranchers do? About the only thing better is a grilled steak!
