I loved Daya throughout the entire thing, lyrics, performance, look, and choreography. She killed it!! But I kinda feel like willow didn’t get enough recognition, sure her runway wasn’t the best and her choreography wasn’t great but her lyrics were brilliant! She’s so smart in the way that she can say so much about herself while keeping it subtle. The way she kept referencing her sicknesses and being I’ll was so smart and that “cute absurd and a little ugly” part was sooooo good. “Celebrate life, let’s pour the bubbly”? Referencing her fear of death!!!! This queen is phenomenal!!

But Willow vs Angeria in a lip sync is a better storyline from a production point of view and if it’s close enough to be able to justify that decision, then that gives additional drama so they’d always pick that. My favourite two were Camden’s and Willow’s, because they showed more about them, I think. Willow’s verse was very clever in places. Nothing bad about Daya’s: sounded very slick but there have been sooo many “I look fierce, watch me stomp the runway, coming through to snatch that crown” type of verses on various series and versions of drag race over the years now that I inwardly groaned when I first heard it as oh not this again… I think I was expecting something more uniquely Daya from a Queen who has a very recognisable style and unique take on things. So move Daya back to number3 and that’d be how I’d rank them I think.
