I wrote off Saxon as a band who only made good music in the early 80’s and faltered after that. When THE INNER SANCTUM came out, I saw the CD in a store and bought it in a whim. Not expecting much, I put this song on and my jaw dropped. I was so wrong about Saxon. My favorite Saxon song. When the melodic guitar backed by that double bass drumming happens, the hairs on my arms stand up. So beautiful.
