This is the kind of crap I see online way too much, and I love how this video goes through the same kind of logical deduction I would in order to determine if someone is cheating while trying to disguise it, which then leads to mountains of denial when they're called out on it. It's nice to see that you as well as others aren't so naive about how many cheaters there are out there.

Everything looks like cheating when you are looking for it. This guy is most likely walling, but most of the things he said was "cheating" could just as well have not been. there is really only the palace peek and the guy he prefired in the corner inside of palace that is really suspect. IF you turn x-rays on lots of things look like cheats in 32tick replays. If this guy wasn't already banned for cheating you'd never know he was. But it's true, one way easy way to check if someone is cheating is usually to call them out and see if they get defensive or if one of their friends get defensive for them. People who are not cheating usually just laugh at you and say thanks. Cheaters get defensive and try to give excuses or start insulting you.

@@GLUFSAREN Saying that "everything looks like cheating if you're looking for it" is a real cop out for not looking, and kind of a contradiction in statements, because how else are you going to see if someone's cheating if you don't look for it? It's the disguising thing you really have to look for, as most habitual cheaters try to deflect accusations by using the same statements you just used while employing reasonable doubt, while mostly disguising it for people who aren't looking. In the end, these people were looking at his behavior, as I am often looking for the same behavior, and he was busted cheating, so what am I supposed to think when I see players who behave like this? I don't care how much the excuse committee comes up with, pros and high profile commentators all agree that cheating is one of the biggest issues with CSGO. Just check out any WarOwl, 3kliksphilip, theScore, or any other regular talking about CS2, and the first or second most important thing they say needs fixed is the rampant cheating. Please don't make more excuses for these people, we'll know them when we see them.

The guy in the video is going through a random recorded game from someone who got banned for cheating. He doesn't know if the guy was cheating in that specific game. He just booted it up and looked for every sus moment he could and gave reasons as to why it could be cheating. He's using confirmation bias knowing the guy is most likely cheating in the demo. If you watch that demo without knowing it's a banned cheaters demo you wouldn't know he was cheating. You wouldn't look for it the same way. I know full well just how many cheaters this game has had, and now that valve seemingly has given up on vac and OW in preparation for cs2 there is an excruciating amount of them. This is why you don't assume things about people and type up a storm using things you made up in your head to attack others with. Makes you look dumb.

People who are shit and just use walls always start aim assisting too because they notice they are too bad to win anyway or because of other cheaters who do use aim assist or because of the better platers who shit on them anyway and they think they must be cheating as well so they start aim assisting. IN casual and DM, that's where they test their cheats and configure them.

I played CSGO for 11 years now. Lost my rank too many time to give a f*. Still. In LE-Supreme games, got a 7 lose streak of 16-1(/2/5) games. Sometimes enemy just becomes Gods, after a few rounds lost, sometimes, you can't do anything....sometimes they lead to 15-3 and lose 12 rounds in a row... UNEXPLICABLE.... Rank system is fked, we know....but these kinds of games when you beat your rank 16-1, or get beaten....imho, should not be possible so often, if we are on the same rank.... Something is certainly fishy all throughtout the entire game / playerbase.... In LE, i had the pleasure to play a 5v2(3 afk, running in circles) and still lose to the 2 pros...tryhard wallbanging and such....

Well watched the demo you're referring to. In almost every portion you mention "how did he know the guy was going that way" type of comment. Either a teammate is in mid/window or you literally hear the footsteps before the suspect even reacts. In all those cases also you see the enemy on the radar running full speed. Hearing is easy. I'm not saying he isn't cheating but honestly I'm not seeing anything that proves it. Some things are sketchy here and there but bro... Even when I watch back my own demos my shit is sketchy AF because it doesn't capture discord chat. So without knowing that my teammate calls rotates or where they guy is hiding etc of course it looks sketchy.

It is possible he cheats, but you cannot tell based on this demo. His aim seems off and his xhair positioning is often quite weak, especially if he hes walling and can see players for reference. When people go wide on him his reactions are very realistic. Not once does he react too fast, this would take quite a bit of discipline with walls. Especially for someone at this apparent level.

He honestly managed to hide it very very well. Most of these clips weren't that questionable First kill of the player hiding palace could be info from teammates on ramp because the round was many seconds in, while the next time he didn't check that corner because cts don't have time to get there before ts. The one underpass was clearly a callout from his teammate that died, and the one on b site obviously didn't go anywhere and it's a very common spot to play in post plant

TIBAW hes not toggling off and on the wh, its a method called "legit move" or "legit moving/moves" even i did in my closet cheating times. You basically look if its a safe round your team got and its fail safe even if you die, in those rounds you purposely let you get caught "off guard" or when an enemy is in the left corner you purpously look right etc, sometimes you even do that so your teammates can get the trade :) Its hard to learn but when you master this, you almost never get caught walling by teammates or OW

Two examples out of "a lot" and the first is shoddy at best. Checks one time and never again, that's the distinction. That's enough to be suspicious, but the other evidence is what supports it. Think within the context of the whole game. The second, I'd acquiesce because we don't have voice comms. And your aim and gamesense as a normal player should grow together, without intervention. If he's got perfect timing every time but never aims well, it's likely ESP or visual assistance. The last couple of rounds confirm it for me.

Don't feel bad, nothing that happened in this video is actually suspicious, obviously the guy was cheating in at the very least some of his ESEA games since he got banned but nothing in this demo is concrete evidence that he was cheating, many of the things TimeisbutaWindow claimed in this video are easily explainable, 2:17 the guy checks an often overlooked corner of palace however what Time doesn't state is that he has 2 team mates on ramp, its easily possible that one of them heard the guy pushing palace and called this info to the suspect. 2:50 he claims the spray was perfect in response to the enemies spam but it very clearly wasn't. At 3:25 he states "notice how he doesn't check over to the left here" which is obviously a call back to the earlier clip however the earlier clip was from part way through the round so an enemy had the time to get into that corner which makes sense as to why he would check it whilst in this current clip the round has just started, obviously hes not going to check a corner that it is physically impossible for an enemy to have got to. At 4:29 he states how the suspect is absolutely certain of the position of the enemy like thats suspicious except the enemy just killed his team mate in CT and his other team mate is in window cutting off the rotation from CT to either market or window so obviously the suspect is looking at CT, nothing else would make sense. At 5:37 he states "as the game is going on they're getting more and more aware of when the other team is pushing up" in reference to the suspect and his team mate holding for an apps push however the previous round one of the suspects team mates was killed by someone pushing underground so its entirely reasonable their call was "lets wait outside apps and see if one of them pushes again". At 6:35 is just the cherry on the cake of horrible game knowledge and finally at 8:55 he thinks its suspicious that the suspect comes out with his "crosshair perfectly on the bomb planter" like planting the bomb doesn't make a noise that you're able to aim towards? If the guy was cheating here wouldn't he instead decide to preaim at the enemy who had his weapon out and not the one with a bomb in his hands? Nothing this guy did was suspicious, TimeisbutaWindow disregarded every time the suspect got caught off-guard as simply him having "toggled off" and explain every time he looked in the direction of an enemy as clear proof of cheats. I've seen a lot of times videos and most are good but this is the second "this player was banned so lets check his demos" and both times Time is grasping at straws and making claims that simply do not hold up.

I actually don't think we can prove he cheats just off of this demo alone, for the suspicious plays there's often some explanation, for example 7:30 the call of him 'suspiciously knowing where the t is', can be backed up by the fact that his teammate is under window and the T is running, thus him getting info by his teammate that the T was running to ct spawn. Or at 5:10 his teammate gets pushed by a guy from Underground, thus we know a CT is there, PLUS he backs off when the CT is coming to peek, while a cheater would 100% hold the angle. Also with the AWP he seems VERYYYYY patient (7:43), lots of cheaters wouldve prefired this. Spray at 2:44 wasnt suspicious either, you saw the bullets flying so you can conclude the angle a bit. Numerous other examples which don't prove too much. He is either super good at hiding it or not cheating (I would have to see different demos to be certain that he's cheating). Nice video nonetheless! Proves how difficult it can be to prove someone is cheating!

4:26 "Then later on he seems absolutely certain of where the enemy will come from though i guess that could be partially due to communication from his team mate" Obviously this guy was cheating because he got banned but there is nothing suspicious about him holding that angle, the enemy just killed his team mate in CT at the start of that clip, his other team mate is in window so the only place the suspect should be looking is at CT, it would be suspicious if he was looking anywhere else since a good player knows without any shred of doubt that the only angle that the enemy can come without alerting his team mate in window is the one hes looking at. Don't retrospectively apply "See, this proves he was cheating!" on every single clip of a person banned for cheating because a lot of the time its perfectly normal things.

I don't believe that he is cheating for certain. Sure, there were suspicious moments but I doubt that there are any certain evidence. The shot you said was the most suspicious could be just a shitty prefire on his teammates' info of someone being at palace. (I would also miss that)

He got banned for cheating, so the guy making this video is just loading up a demo and looking for cheats. He doesn't actually know if he was cheating in this specific game. He might not have been. He probably was though there were moments where he was fearless and just looked at where they were and never where they could have been. He knows where they are so he's not looking where they aren't. But still everyone does some sus things every game they play if someone puts on x-ray and checks my demos, I'm sure I will do sus things all the time, because the watcher knows what I don't so they assume I know because they know. Even if I was just guessing that they could be somewhere and looking at a corner, or maybe I am just booking it because the bomb is down and I don't have time to check corners and hope they are not being ratty lurking. It might look like I know no one is holding flank but I'm just hoping no one is so I can get to the site and assist my team comming from another and while they sneak up I am making noise forcing the enemy to pay attention to me. Take banana on inferno or dark on d2 there are plenty of places you can be looking like you know too much but all you are doing is making noise and helping your team get a better entry or hurrying to the site because the bombs down and you need to get there faster and the person watching the demo doesn't know what coms I have or if one of my teammates called incorrectly that all of them were in site when the couldn't have known that. Happens a lot actually. Would I say this was enough for overwatch no, not one bit. I would say he could be cheating. I'm basically describing confirmation bias.

@@axtra9561 Based off of this video (not so much the match because I haven't seen the match) there is really nothing solid...he only showed us like 15, very specific points of the game so saying anything about timing is really not a fair assessment. He talked about timing a few times so perhaps he saw it a very questionable amount of times but weren't many specific moments of it that he deemed worthy of being in the video but it still influenced his judgment...either way, what he showed was really not much. The sketchiest thing I thought was the moment he turned back towards market after failing to get into window, it was a very awkward moment but he was talking and if there was even a single audible footstep that could explain how he reacted...it still wouldn't have been too definitive though even there was nothing to hear.

It's miles better. At this point, windows defender blocks more cheats than VAC does. ESEA on the either had requires extremely specialized cheats or even hardware cheats, and if you're not making them yourself they are REALY, REALY expensive
