Caught in a Storm / A Del Taco Stop / and Another Woman? 😘/ Over 60

Nanny heads out to Margie’s house and gets trapped on a winding steep road when the skies open up to hail, thunder and lightning and she can’t pull over…A delicious fast food lunch calms her down and she heads home with blue skies and the sun shining through the clouds. Earlier in the day….Moosie abruptly ends their phone call (he’s in a hospital) when he tells her “another lovely gray-haired woman just arrived “…to start his physical theraphy…and he had to hang up!! 😘hehe…

You rock Nanny, you handled that hailstorm like a pro - focused, slow & steady, and pulled off when you were able. (Of course my stomach was in a knot until you got through it!) Good to hear reports, ruling out any fractures, etc. Hopefully they will get those inflamed nerves under control & Moosie will be able to move on to rehab. We just have to take things one day at a time, don't we? Enjoying a few days' visit with daughter & family, spent early part of the week checking on my mom - 85 & lives alone, very independent but not very mobile. Going home Monday, 400 mile drive. You take good care & tell Moosie we continue to pray for him ❤️

Yes, Sharon….I was just awakened by the flood alert siren on my phone….now that’s a scary sound! I don’t remember this incessant rain here except maybe 10 or 15 years ago ….we had something similar! Moose has been transferred to the hospital rehab therapy floor and they will begin intensive rehab tomorrow…I hope he’s ready for this! I really need to get some clothes to him tomorrow…hope the rain lets up for awhile…stay warm and safe, Sharon. Thank you for the blessings and love.❤️

Hey, Nanny I just watched this video, it's a couple of weeks old. My goodness, you are quite the driver, among many other things!! You are so blessed and Moosie is so blessed to have you! Yes, he does depend on you to take care of a lot of his needs. But, as husband and wife, that is how we roll! God gave us a help mate. God into the ark, two by two! I would love that shrimp taco! Shrimp is one of my favorite foods! I love sea food . I love your videos so much 😍. No you do not have gray hair, you are a natural, platinum, blonde! Big difference! Gray hair is the color of steel. My grandmother had gray hair on her older days but my mother is a platinum blonde, at the age of 97 in June. I am a yellowish blonde and I think underneath the Miss Clairol I am going to be a platinum blonde,! Take care of yourself. As I am writing this Moosie is home and all is going well. Thank goodness! The weather is totally unseasonable or even unheard of in so many places!!! It is definitely too warm here in Georgia for this time of year!!! The fruit trees are all blooming…next week’s forecast is for considerably cooler temps…hopefully our fruit trees survive this weird weather!!! Nanny you did a great job driving thru that storm. You have to be a confident driver out there…my Dad used to take my sister & I out in the ice and snow. My Mom would freak out but like he used to say - they gotta get used to it. I won’t be driving them around for the rest of their life! Moose reminds me of my Dad - he liked the hospital food too. I am glad he is coming along and that you have a bit of respite from the worry and being a care giver. I looked after my husband for nearly 8 years after he took early retirement from teaching at a University fairly near us. He developed early onset dementia, FTD which didn't affect his memory much. Just turned him into a different person so I learned to love that new person too. He's been gone 9+ years. No one could measure up to him. I was young and am 70 now. Still young at heart, cherishing the good memories. I pray for strength for both of you. Thank you.
