Caught in a Wind Storm | RV Life

Sometimes in full time RV life, things don’t go as planned. That was definitely the case last year when we found ourselves caught in a sudden wind storm in South Dakota. Luckily, we happened to be at a truck stop when the storm hit. We would NOT want to be driving in that!

That would have been more ideal. We were lucky to be at a truck stop when it hit and the only parking they had was the direction we were facing.

in new zealand in the mackenzie basin is where most of the camper blow overs happen, i also drive a tour bus and pointing it into the wind if we are parked while we wait for a road closure to clear helps reduce the movement on the road
