Accidents happen that is okay. But him leaving makes me feel that you should 1000% tell the hoa. You can be clear that it was a mistake and you dont want him fired. But his boss needs to know he’s got a worker that will damage people stuff and walk off like nothing happened. If he had the balls to just come to your door and be honest then I would feel differently. But instead he damaged your property and tried to run off like nothing happened. Hope you contact hoa, i wouldn’t want a dishonest worker in my neighborhood.
