if Casey is using a rode video mic pro, he might have just accidentally toggled the +20 decibel setting on the mic, which would explain why the audio peaks when he gets close to the camera or something is louder than him just talking normally. It sounds fine when he is at a fair distance away. He also could have just messed up the manual audio setting on his camera, so there shouldnt be a need to replace everything.

Casey, I am truly inspired by your videos. Spelling errors and microphones issues do not concern me - this video was stellar. But I am disappointed in your continued attempts at dishonest click-bait. It's one thing to use a thumbnail of your wife's bikini body when the majority of the vlog is at the beach, but to title this amazing video based on a 3 second clip at the end seems dishonest. Yeah, true af... these houses are pretty sweet. But they are like 10-15Mio+. Most of them have been reallocated into offices for like lawyers, architects, etc. Or have been converted into seperate appartments. The houses by the canals are pretty expensive too, they go for like 5Mio+ each. Amsterdam is not cheap but it is a fantastic city, truely unlike any city in the world, which I sometimes as a Dutchman forget. It takes vlogs like Casey's to remind myself what a great country the Netherlands is... If it ain't Dutch it ain't much! :)
