I try to keep my finger on the pulse of the general vibe of the audience so I think more times than not I'm able to create banter that feels specific enough to how they would personally respond. I really try to avoid making listeners feel like a dog getting dragged on a leash, because I imagine that takes folks out of the entire experience. Thank you for listening!

As a character creator and a mostly former writer, I understand the frustration of the assignment of no leash dragging. What I really appreciated here though is not treating Listener like we're some... Innately precious, innocent, pure creature. ~ That does blow it for me.
