Those stats which you showed, in that year he averaged 13.29 as a bowler, and he till this day remains in the record books, the only allrounder among specialist fast bowlers to register those numbers and you know what in the same year in which he was averaging 13.29 as a bowler in test cricket, he also averaged 49 as a test batsman. A freak he was, as a test cricketer and its sad how his political career has ruined his memory as one of the Greatest of the Game!

Great to see Bavuma humble Rashid. Rashid was making jokes on him yet he's been absolutely incredible the last 3 years. He has got a good eye and can catch technical mistakes and not everybody can do that...even sunil gavaskar said the same things....in 80s and 90s wicketkeepers were pure wicketkeepers and not allrounders....look at batting average of jack russel,kiran more ,mongia and other wicketkeepers of that time....and also remember rashid batted mainly with the tail at no 7
