Major advice coming from someone doing it for a while on Caustic 3...... Trying to do a mix while soloing out a instrument on the mixer is definitely gonna lower your quality in mixing as far as how you could have gotten it the best way to mix always is to hear all the sounds together when you solo it out you're actually making it pop out way more than it should and you're mixing it up for something that's only for that sound...... great song though keep it up

I know this is a very old question, but all you have to do is add a compressor in one of the effect slots of the instrument you want to have the side chain affect, then tap the black box that's on the compressor until it shows the number of the track that you want the side chain signal to come from. So if you have your bass drum on the first track out of 14, just tap the black box once, and the number 1 will show up, indicating that track 1 is the side chain signal. Not sure if I worded that correctly 😊

What is the idea behind the 2 Band Isolate filters in the master? The frequency is set around the 440Hz - first a steep cut, then slight wider boost. What's wrong with the 440Hz range (in this track)? :) Thanks!

I absolutely have no idea. In fact, I didn't even know those filters are actually just equalizers, at the time I made this, back in 2016. I discovered it by accident, and I thought it sounded much better with it.
