Fun fact: I’ve fallen asleep before when editing the audio to one of my videos. Have you ever fallen asleep while watching/listening to one of my videos? I hope this one is helpful to your chess, if you can stay awake for it. 😊 I’ve shared more info in the video’s description.

I used to fall asleep to your tournament playlist like every night for over a year. I'm pretty sure I've seen every single video on your channel like that. It's not that you're boring, it's just that your voice is soothing lol. I've also gained a lot in strength inspired by your play-style, analysis, and in-game commentary. Oh, and your tutorials on end games helped me tie games against stronger players otb. So it's not just sleep-aid xd

I have always struggled to fall asleep. Even if I am really tired and don't get enough sleep I just stay awake against my will. However, watching your videos takes me away. I get engulfed in the gameplay, the tactics, and your voice is so soothing. It allows me to not think of anything else than getting lost in the board. I would watch 10 minutes of your 3-hour long bullet tournaments before drifting into my sweet slumber. I remember I would get sad from finishing a 12 hour night shift because I had already finished your latest video and there wasn't anything new to help me sleep. Funny that you brought this up because I thought I was the only one. So on behalf of the sleep troubled community, thank you!

For a while, when i was trying to learn chess and became "okay" at it, i'd watch your videos in the evening just to not be alone with my thoughts and i have fallen asleep to you analysing bobby fisher's games so many times. Your voice reminds me of better times in my life than now and it is worth a lot to me to have something constant, when time itself feels like it's running past me at lightning speed. I love your calmness and insight when youre playing, and i love the sudden challenges that you throw in with an unexpexted "what would you play in this position" when im getting too comfortable just watching. Please keep going

I just came here to say... About 10 years ago or so I was watching your stream and I got timed out for saying the word "damn" in the chat. It shocked me at the time, but after that made a big impression on my life, as i'm a very impressionable person. I no longer used the word for YEARS. Using darn in replace of it. I started dating someone a few months ago and very early on they used the word, something along the lines of "I love the damn dog" talking about a friends dog. Well once again I was impressionable. I'm easily influenced. And I considered why I didn't ever say it, and remembered back to the time out incident. I started saying it again, and it felt kind of fun, kind of unruly. But it shouldn't have. I told my orthodox religious goody goody sister and mum the story. They were perplexed. And yes as was I at the time. But the time out incident made the word seem bad to me over the next 10 years. But it's not a bad word. The time out incident made it bad in my eyes but it's just not. So yeah, just came here to say that after 10 years I'm finally saying damn again. And there's not a damn thing you can do about it!
