This seems better for ergonomics; the tone is more mellow and doesn’t have the breathy sound and shrillness of a regular mouthpiece.

It looks like you are having to chew on the mouth piece to get notes. What are actually doing please.?

Just being expressive. No need to 'chew' own the mouthpiece. It is all a matter of airstream. It may not look pretty, but the sound is what we are after!
