Cava is the BOMB!!!!! I go to the one at Legacy Place, Dedham mass . I always ask for extra grilled or harissa chicken. Prices are great for the portions too. It’s well worth it!!!

We have this chain here in ATL called Gusto! and its basically cava but does both Tex mex and Meditteranean seasonal bowls with better portions. I wouldn't bring it up if it was just one place but they have like 12 locations so it feels like its trying to compete in that space. I'm sure NJ has something similar but yeah I prefer it over Cava unless I really want pita chips lol.

If I had more options I’d probably get something else but Chipotle near me never misses for me. My bowl is loaded. I get a full bag of chips. I’d love more options but I’m home and back in ten minutes and I’m never disappointed.

I loved Chipotle in college, bc it was a fast food place that had fresh food. I don't go anymore, bc the one in my area isn't as good as it used to be. I've never been to CAVA, but I really want to go bc I love Mediterranean food. There are none in my area. I live in South Florida. There are CAVAs in bigger cities, but not near me. Once I take a trip to Tampa, I'll definitely eat at the CAVA over there.

I used to consider this place overpriced, but with everyone else raising their prices and (knock on wood) Cava has stayed the same…at least at the Paramus location. Now they are priced just right. I think the chipotle comparison is fair in the context you are using.

I went to a pizza place in Saratoga Springs Ny called Caputo's they had a Sausage, roasted red pepper, banana pepper, roasted garlic, broccoli rabe slice. I bought one and it was fire, I know you like the Rabe if you every find yourself up this way (I know its quite a hike for you) give them a shot.

Lamb sounds gamie; farm flavor. Never had it before. If I try and dislike, it was your recommendation.

As someone who loves and hates lamb, I can give you a few suggestions. Lamb FAT is really gamey. Keep that in mind. Braised and stewed lamb is what I love (or lamb gyros). Lamb roasts and chops which are served medium rare I really dislike. Lamb burgers can be a bit funky but with tangy, herbal sauces they can be good. (If I have a chance to order a lamb burger, I often do.) Indian cuisine is full of AMAZING lamb dishes. Mediterranean and Middle Eastern places also fix lamb well. The Indian dishes with lamb would be way less tasty if beef was substituted. The spices tame the lamb but the lamb still stands up to the spices. CAVA looks awesome. None in Cali, unfortunately.
