Sepultura concert Dec. 1990 - Villa Real Convention Center - McAllen Texas. While opening bands Sadus, Devastation, and Obituary were playing, drummer Igor was walking around taking pictures with fans, signing autographs and hanging out at the merchandise stand. Later, before their set, Max came to the side of the stage to take pictures with the fans. Earlier, when we were waiting in line to enter, we could see through the door windows that the bands and their road crew were playing soccer before the beginning of the show. Great show.

Man, I remember discovering Sepultura in Germany in 1992-4. My dad was stationed in Augsburg and my school friend introduced them to me. Instant love man, at the time, SLAYER was the sickest heaviest shit in my world. I discovered Sepultura and my journey into Death Metal and everything thereafter mainly because of Sepultura!! You guys were my intro INTO the REAL UNDERGROUND!!🤘😀🤘💀🤘❤❤❤

just saw Cavalera in Dallas Friday night. Awesome show! Do yourself a favor, if your a metal head, and DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW !!!!I've seen Sepultura many times, 1st time being 1991 I think, and this may have been my favorite so far. Max fukn killed it !!! In the best way possible!

I will always appreciate how Max gives us consistent releases with his different projects. He is always working on music and it never sucks. We Shred Head’s salute the Riff Lord himself!🫡🤘💀🤘🎸 “I needed to edit message because I forgot to say thank you to Max and Igor for doing this for us fans! I have been jamming the two songs released alongside to Totem by Soulfly, I just luv that record. Spirit Animal from beginning to end is just F’n killer. Luv how you used Eyesburn’s vocalist again. Even the instrumental just trippy cool. I luv all those gothic clean tones those dreamy eerie sounding tones. Will take that stuff incorporated alongside gnarly distorted riffage anytime Max. Shxt is cool brother. Hidden gem on Deluxe Edition of Dark Ages, “Salmo-91” The prayer going alongside those awesome delays, chorus’s, reverbs, phasers, anything they use in Soulfly like that is always rad. Soulfly V also from Dark Ages is one of my favorite instrumentals next to Soulfly XII from Totem, Soulfly VII off Omen, Soulfly IX off Savages, Soulfly X off Archangel, Soulfly III off 3, and really it’s just hard naming them when every instrumental off every Soulfly albums is killer. Like off Primitive, Conquer, Ritual, the ORIGINAL! Marc and Max’s clean tones were always rad also when they worked together. People acted shocked like the instrumental on Soulfly’s Totem was different. Maybe for being the length it was, sure, and not many changes in sound, but was not needed. I think it was perfect and fits with Spirit Animal as well. I luv the reggae stuff and the worldly stuff. All mixed with badass metal, too perfect. I will listen to all of Max’s records until the day I die. Never gets old. Absolutely luv your riffs and lyrics always Max. 🤘 Haha now I turned this into a book page of a message from the original and once I mentioned Totem I went on a rant haha when this is about Cavalera Conspiracy and brother’s Max and Igor! So I will and want to throw out “Psychosis” from Psychosis. One of my favorites. Just badass tribal drumming Igor had going and just everything about it is rad. Another one with just rad ass clean tones. Can’t wait though for this brutal re-recorded album and EP, few days to go for Cavalera Conspiracy’s Morbid Visions and Bestial Devastation!!!! Can’t wait to also hear the two new unreleased riff bangers we all know they’ll be”🤘🎸🤘
