Thank you! was looking forward to this video from you. Some points in there that I had not heard before. Much later edit: This is certainly one hell of a sticky pulling product in dry hair. It certainly works fine.. but I'm gonna try find something easier to apply to dry hair. Also wanna try get a more slick combed style (without the shiny wetness).

Yo, did you end up finding that product? Cavalier, is extremely sticky in my hair and it more often than not ruins my style I made during the blow-drying process. So in looking for a better clay or product that tames thick hair, without that incredibly sticky feeling and hard to style after application, I still haven't found anything I wanted to try yet. Just wondering if you have found that product, thanks!

Can you use this on damp hair??!!!! I don't like using a blow dryer and I work always on the go. No time for blow drying.

I noticed this clay is not bad to break down in the summer. Today it’s about 15C instead of 30C and oh my it is difficult to break down. I’m surprised the smallest change in temp made it so difficult lol.

Have you reviewed any 18.21 hair products? I think they need a stronger buzz. Their “wax” was great.

Would you consider Cavalier Clay as one of your go-two products. I actually like that product better than Claymation and dynamite clay. The reason why I say this is because the hold lasts so much longer than Claymation and Dynamite Clay. Also because Cavalier Clay gives me tons of texture and it suits my hair density which is thick and straight.

Yes, I do. I replaced them for exactly that reason - it tends to get stormy here in Germany, so I need something that lasts. :)

I don't like cavalier clay. Way too much volume and I can't pack my hair down. Get volume even on my sides and back and end up looking like I was shocked with electricity. It's sort of similar to Baxter in that respect. I prefer the Fire and Brimestone matte clay. That works well with my hair. However, i have blond hair and matte products look bad on my color hair, so I add Dax SHort and Neat topper to my hair to make it look real. I like clays for the volume, but I don't like the dirty-hair, dead, corpse-like hair look that these products give me. They look bad on everyone else too. It looks so fake and dirty that it's distracting. But I do like the volume they give me, which is the only reason I use them. Their overpriced big time. You can get a lot of volume from a good wax pomade for a much lower price. The volume isn't as good as a clay, but it's cheaper, your not getting ripped off and the shine lmakes the hair look really healthy, which you don't get frmo a clay.

how rinse out this product? I used to rinse product just with Conditioner because with shampoo everyday just make my hair dry even more.

ian jimmy it’s actually pretty easy to wash out. It’s easier than Baxter clay. Ruezel heavy for me is a 12/10 for difficulty in washing out. I’d rate cavalier about a 2/10

kaigroomed whaaaaaaa??? Awesome. In my home town, everyone wants to major in engineering or biology. I’m likely to go with applied mathematics, but I honestly just want to learn more about the various branches of mathematics and their applications. Cool to see an aspiring physicist. With a killer beard nonetheless.

Had a similar experience with this clay. Extremely hard to pull out of the jar and almost impossible to warm up to get into your hair so had to run my hands quickly under warm water to get a consistency that would work for styling. It works okay this way, but it is so grippy that it pulls out a lot of my finer hair than other products when styling yet I like a firm hold for all day body and shape versus waxes. I have similar Scandinavian type fine hair and lots of it versus thicker hair but there are better products for 1/2 the price tag...
