In terms of score sheets this is beating out SCV in 2016, 2017, and 2018. This is tied with BD 2015.

They are good, no doubt. But this book getting a 9.9 in content is actually comical. Everything outside of the features is an absolute snooze-fest These judges gotta get back on the field, man.

the performers are playing the music super well, but wow the writing is incredibly boring outside of the snare break or drum break. i've never stated this of a group, but honestly their content score should not be this high. i agree, there needs to be a field judge again for this exact reason.

Sorry, that score is because this stick work is so very exposed and they are nailing it. More notes doesn't mean better. CLEAN wins and this drumline is clean. You could make the same argument against BD drill and marching while playing...boring book, but man they can throw down and play. Same analogy here- it works here too yet there are so many old school techniques mixed with a freshness that others are not doing. You say boring because they do it so well it "looks" easy. I say WOW and well deserved this season!

@texasartist01 They are also not clean though, lol. There's still a considerable amount of fuzz in the book, rims, and flubbed bass splits. Also, this isn't a "they make this look easy" situation, because 70% of the book is objectively easy. It's gotta be the pit carrying them.
