Thank you! Got a pair of these (ELBs) for my OTTB. He’s a retired show hunter, but it’s been rough keeping shoes on him without causing further damage. After a two year retirement, a nice gal who works at the barn wanted to start riding and I believe in paying it forward. But I could not keep him sound and I’m not sure she can afford to pay for shoes. I hope this works for them. Thanks again!

I'm interested in the ELB but I can't tell if they are sold as a single boot or a pair from the website I'm looking at that sells them. How much roughly did you pay for a pair of ELBs? I just want them for riding on the roads so my pony doesn't wear down his hooves too much

Hi! When I got mine, I think they were sold separately, and pretty sure they were about $70 a pop. Still on my first pair, and they are holding up well! As well as the simple boots.

I had the Caballo Simple & worked well for my light trail usage. They completely fell apart sitting in the garage. Hoof part material broke apart into chunks. I'd had them a few years. Was rather catastrophic failure. All that is left is the leather top.

Jonny please educate me. Do you put boots on all 4 feet or just get. Do horse wear them all the time. Are these boots ,so you don't have to show feet. Thanks

I put boots on all 4 feet of the ground is really bad with lots of rocks. If the ground is okay, I only put the front 2 on. They provide protection from rocks and also support for my old horse with arthritis. He’s very comfortable in them.

Oh no, I’m so sorry to hear that! Can u get duck tape?? Duct tape? I’ve seen people fashion a temporary boot using duct tape! Might only last a few days at a time.
