I heard about Crazy Cavan & The Rhythm Rockers in 1975. I was 23 years old. Raggare and Rocker. We were a member of The Rock'n Roll Society of Scandinavia. RRSS. Our own rock club in Skien Norway. Every friday. I was the Disk Jockey. Rock'n Roll and Rockabilly were mostly played. But some 70 'up tempo sounds. I have to point out one song that was played a lot in the whole 70's in the Rock Club was Mungo Jerry: Gonna Bop Till I Drop. Rune Halland who led RRSS was the one who had the first LP with CC ,. Printed in Holland. Crazy Cavan And The Rhythm Rockers. That record was played all late in the summer of 1975. On that LP, it's just top rock'Roll / Rockabilly not a bad song. Everything is just completely superior. I have most LPs for CC today, But the one I play the most is their 1st Lp'n from Holland. Who would talk about age at that time in 1975. It was unknown. Then we are suddenly reminded that the years just disappear. Our old heroes are leaving us. Hope they are gathered - There will be a nice bunch. Nostalgia is something that comes with age. And it suddenly dawns on some of us when we read about our old 'heroes' who have left us. Thinking back to the 60's 70's and 80's. How wonderfully time it was. Look at Europe now - But who knew the future in 1975. We did not engage in politics at the time, but only old US cars and Rock'n Roll. Maybe we should work a little harder to keep the joy of living and being safe. Cavan Crogan you have given me much much pleasure you and the group. I would not be too without. And if there's only one thing I can take with me when they place me in the nursing home, it's the 1st LP for CC. Today I am almost 69 years old. But I'm been lucky. So keep Rockin.. Regards Dan. Skien Norway..

I remember seeing your Grandad for the first time, i had already bought a few of his records, they were brilliant, and to finally meet the man himself was brilliant, he has left a legacy that will always be around, his spirit will always live on, through you and yours, look in the mirror, he is still here in you..

I was lucky enough to see Gene Vincent in '63, and of course this reminds me of him. The great thing about rockabilly is that it was created ' perfect ', there's no such thing as Progressive Rockabilly or Heavy Metal Rockabilly.. Once you start trying to be clever it ceases to be rockabilly. First time I've heard this artist, very good music.
