I use to swim in that pool in the seventies and eighties it's cold as crap, we use to have all of our family reunions at the park beside the pool, the pool is spring fed and theirs also a large cave you can explore there, cavesprings is mainly a tourist town now but it use to be know for the Georgia school for the deaf. Although we live in northeast Alabama now we go through this town at least once a year.

I used to live in cavesprings bout 7 or 8 yrs ago. I'm from Piedmont Al. But now I reckon I'm a Ga. Transplant now but anyhow cavesprings got flooded a few weeks ago where your walking down the street was about 3 to 5 foot deep where that little creek flooded

My mom has a house 2 blocks from the square and the old civil war railroad runs thru her backyard. I have not had the chance to metal detect it yet, waiting for winter and to get a better metal detector. My husband and I live about 5 minutes from Cave Spring.

That’s my hometown, I love metal detecting also. The reason why you can’t Mdetect in the park is because people would come and do it and not cover their holes up. If you would of came by 20 years earlier then you could have.

Sorry to trigger you but since you felt comfortable correcting me, I’ll help you. There should be a comma after spring, and a period after springs. Also, Cave and Springs should be capitalized since they are proper nouns.
