Throughout the 19th, I'll be posting some fan favorites of one of my biggest arrangement projects of 2014.
Notes about this track:
This is what you get when a vengeful spirit of flesh and blood tries to destroy an island riddled with a terrible crown. A culmination of Mimiga Town, Eyes of Flame, Geothermal, Gestation, Meltdown 2, and even Gravity make special little segues in this grand finale of a mix.

Last comment i'ma make tonight but wow. This is the first track I ever heard from Dokuro and since then i've always loved his music. Now about the game, boy oh boy Ballos, what a guy! Convinced by Misery into creating the demon crown and accidentally destroyed everything even his own family in the process, being too powerful for his own good. I feel bad for Ballos, as soon as you meet him the only thing he wants, is for you to succeed in putting an end to him, even if his untamed power, malice and sorrow prevent him from standing by to accept death, he gives the fight everything he has while pushing you to overcome him and free him of his immortal torment.

ThePokeYen - Cave Story is kind of an underrated game now. If it got a little more attention (not as much as FNaF and Undertale have, but enough for it to get recognized) then I'd be pretty surprised. Thing is, nowadays, it's all FNaF, Undertale, and more. Of course there's more Grade-A games like Dark Souls, FFVI, etc. that should get more attention, but if it's necessary, some people say that it's best to keep Cave Story and those games "hidden".

I like what you did with the melody. Instead of making it a direct copy of the original, you gave it a grander sense of feel. The panic and urgency was replaced with a sense of deliberate danger, as if facing some sort of vengeful deity. I enjoy that! And the intro definite sets the tone very well. However, there are many places where things get a bit too congested, or where the balancing could use some work. For example, the note runs at 0:33 could have been at a slightly lower volume to more easily usher in the other instrument playing the next part. Also, around 1:25, the background… are those synth strings? They're bleeding into the next chord too much, making a bit too much dissonance and muddying the rest of the instruments too. That part could have sounded so clean! Same with other areas similar to that. I really enjoy your sense of progression. Your transitions are generally simple, but they're effective. That's definitely something that I still need to work on myself. Perhaps, if you ever have time, we could talk sometime! All in all, fantastic remix!

I have to say DM your arrange of this OST is really good. I enjoyed using it as a mod for my game doing a 3HP run. These tracks work incredibly well on hard or 3HP run.

@Benjamin Harmon I would love to but that mod was on my previous PC and that PC crapped out. Its easy to make to be fair. Just download his Arrangements and turn them into OGG files and slap em in the folder. I would suggest putting them in the NEW ost folder. Not the original or remastered.

At least be have a single place to talk about Calamity OST in your channel... It's a great loss, both you and coment section on Calamity videos. If for some reason you see that, please... Take this words as my honest opinion. You're an amazing composer. Not just a "that calamity guy" to me. You're a legend to me. As well as for many other people. Every single musical piece that you composed is filled with emotions. They aren't always good, these emotions I mean. But this makes your music even more valuable to me. It's good that you decided to leave Calamity because this fandom... It's didn't changed, DM Dokuro. These people never learn. It's still a toxic waste. I'm glad that you decided to move on, even after all pain caused by "haters". And oh god, what a "move on". Better than ever.

How is it fair to attack a new fan who just has questions about your work and has no idea about a huge situation that happened half a decade ago? Your one of my favorite composers, and I had a lot of sympathy for you when all the drama first broke. But now it just feel like relitigating the past and not moving on to a brighter future.
