Cherosk Hmmm, I think all levels of fireball do the same damage, but the number of fireballs that can be out on the screen at once increases with each level up. Unfortunately it's always a boss that I've had trouble with.

Oh, he uses AutoHotKey and uses this code in order to do it. c UP::bStop := True $c:: bStop := False Loop { IfEqual, bStop, %True%, Break Send {x Down} Sleep 1 Send {x Up} Sleep 1 } Return To use it just hold down C to rapidly fire. I use it myself and it's extremely helpful for Cave Story

Cannot refill before fighting doctor, the undead core, heavy press and Ballos in the regular story. So it looks easier in boss rush, if you just want to survive. But the goal of boss rush is to get as fast as possible. S is very hard to get.

Very nice, I'm trying to get a sub 10 minute score right now, the biggest problem is the core because it seems so unpredictable, I can come really close to getting it, but then I run out of missiles and have to chase after it and end up getting stuck in the mini cores, either that or it retreats into the wall and wastes several minutes.

In a technical sense, the 3ds port is the best of both worlds with the original sound and graphics, while it also has the bonus modes from cave story + boi

ReddehWow Actually 3DS eShop version has almost all the extra modes of Cave Story+, but the only difference is that it retains the graphics of the original freeware version. The shittiest port is probably the DSiWare port, which is exactly the same as the freeware version.

To get the spur you need to keep the polar star until getting booster v2.0 and then go back to the gunsmith in the beginning. Wait I just realized you asked how he got it in boss rush

the spur you can get it with any booster either 0.8 or 2.0 only with the 0.8 you have to have more skill when using it ... in order you have to go to see the old one you stole it (the gunsmith from the beginning)

It's not TAS. It's hell far away from TAS, due to so many mistakes. For example Monster X fight is very inefficient. Proper TAS would cut the total time by another 25-30%
