For this latest watercolour landscape tutorial we are back in my home county of Derbyshire with this view of Peveril Castle in Cavedale.
Just outside the village of Castleton, it’s a great subject providing us with an excellent focal point amid the rocky, green, rolling landscape typical of this area.
I have had many requests to paint this subject from members who have seen it at the top of the home page on the website, and while it may seem a bit daunting at first, it is relatively straightforward, especially when broken down into manageable pieces.
It’s also very satisfying when it all comes together at the end.
