Caveman rock drops fat tyred Stumpjumper 6Fattie

Now that I'm retire from racing, I love trail riding just for fun. Stellenbosch (South Africa) has plenty of great trails, like the new Red Route in Jonkershoek.
In the edit I drop my Specialized Stumpjumper 6Fattie into the rocks. I ride the 3 inch wide 650B tyres quite soft- 18psi rear 15 psi front (1.2 and 1 Bar) they just soak up the trail rubble and let you rail the trail.

+Colton K Depends on tyre pressure. The faster you go and the more hard pack the terrain, the more psi required, to avoid squirrely berm rides & jumps. I'm 190 lbs and ride 16psi front and 18 psi rear on natural terrain, and 18/20 on fast hard pack

20 psi is about the max. im 250 id probably need 20 25.. lol. i demoed a fuse the other day and ran 15 17 and i needed more pressure.. i demoed the stumpy 6 fattie last year and i think i remember running 20 and 22 or something. it was a blast! back tire needs a little more bite. but so fun!

+Colton K I'd recomend the Purgatory tyre front and rear. As you can see in the video. Got plenty bite.
