Yeah head shots take like half torpor on a trike. They're actually super easy to knock out with a sling, it's meta to do it that way even. They're awesome early tames if you have the patience. There's so many easy ways, you can knock them out just by kiting around it, giving it body shots. I like to have it chase me to a cliff tho, I run around real quick so it gets stuck on the side of the hill running at me. Then I shoot it in the body from above. You could also use a structure to trap it in. Takes about 120 stones for a 150 trike, and on regular rates ethey take about 3 hours to tame.

You're supposed to stop shooting when it gets close then turn n' run for a bit since it's slower. Rince n' repeat. You could tame any lvl with a slingshot, a lvl 150 takes like 150 stones.
