@@JPNEETozaki had to relisten to remember why I felt that way. I think it’s the reflective melancholy, audibly looping string samples, but primarily the piano. The piano has a similar resonance to the piano track in both Maria’s theme and Laura’s theme. In a more spiritual sense, the crunchy audio reminds me of SH1. But the melancholy reminds me of SH2. I was also binging everything tangentially related to silent hill when I made this comment.. so.. there’s some bias here and there.

@@jbbjerrall The KH3 CoR theme is nice, but I feel like the main melody is covered by the "electrical melody" over it. Don't get me wrong, it does fit the vibe of being inside a computer defeating the 13 darknesses, or "The Real Organization XIII", though I would have liked it to be more like the KH2 CoR theme.

@@ryyyyyyn Critical mode didn't help the vast majority of players who were looking for a balanced difficulty and remind is a paid DLC separate from KH3. With only 9 worlds, about as many cutscenes as gameplay (took me 21 hours to beat the game and there are 10 hours of cutscenes) and a story only growing more nonsensical when it should be wrapping up... I wouldn't say it sucked, but it was definitely disappointing, even without the 14 year gap since the last major installment. Here's hoping KH4 at least allows you to adjust volume settings
