I know this was a year ago but I can relate. I just ended a friendship that I wanted but we both kept hurting each other. I loved him but he didn't feel the same but I thought we could still be friends but things do t work like that with us. I miss him and I still love him but I really shouldn't. It's nothing compare to what you've been though. See I'm just trying to cope here because on my safety plan writing is one of my coping skills so I'm trying to cope with my depression and sometimes I wonder if he's the cause for my depression but I always deny it because something so pathetic and stupid wouldn't cause me wanting to kill myself now would it. My daughter Jayme loved Cavetown's music... I heard her singing in the bathtub ..so beautifully above the music in volume and emotion. I thought such a mournful sounding song for a 12 year old girl to be singing but I loved the powerful meaningful effort she brought to her song, I had never heard her sing like that...ever...She was amazing. A bit later she was still in the bathroom and quiet. She had hung herself in the bathtub...I could not revive her nor the first responders- She could not come back to me. The words of her song haunted me though beautifully. I searched for this song i was sure about five words. First time I heard it I was enchanted...in my soul i know she lead me to what i sought.
