My analysis on the video! How I see it is that robin is just trying to do something nice (fx win over someone like in a relationship) but there’s always something stopping him no matter how hard he tries to get to the person, it’s like they have their barriers up and it keeps him from getting closer to them. When he says “say it back”, he doesn’t look nervous or excited, he looks hopeless and the light slightly dims. The line “guess I must be satisfactory you said you love me exactly the way I am” could mean that he defines his self worth in what his partner says about him, a common characteristic in an unhealthy relationship. He feels like it’s a mission to be loved and his whole relationships feels like a game to him, because he needs to fight so hard for something, but he loses the game(relationship) and gets thrown away like trash. Even though he levels up, he just sighs and looks down. He feels as though he needs to keep fighting even though he’d rather just give up. 4:06 - at 5:05 he finds that his partner (who he was fighting for) is not who he thought he was, and then after all his work he gets killed (heartbroken/betrayed?)

OKAY STORY: 3:43-3:51 There's like this 'doot doot' sound (I think its like an enemy warning sound in the video) and it has messed with my head for MONTHS. I listen to this song a lot (who wouldn't lol) through a youtube playlist. I have bad plumbing in my house and because my room is next to the bathroom I hear the pipes creak(?) a lot. No drama really, but we got it fixed recently anyway. BUT this 'doot doot' noise at this part of the video sounds almost EXACTLY like the pipes creaking. And I was like dang we didn't get the pipes fixed at all. And I'm about to tell my roommates about it because I hear it at night and while I'm studying etc. But then! I go visit my parents for a few days , y'know I miss my mum, and BOOM, same noise. And I freak out coz its like its following me!! Do my parents have bad pipes? Is there something wrong with my hearing?? And then I realised I only hear it when I listen to music (which is super frustrating because I would yank out my headphones to see where the noise was coming from , to no avail) So I thought it might be my headphones? Finally, I listened to this song, without headphones on, and watched the video properly, and realised what was going on. Save 80$ not getting the plumber back tho.
