cavity filter 2

part 2 of the cavity filter build and a few conclusions please excuse how this video as presented i lost some footage when my memory card decided to go wrong so enjoy and please leave comments below

A very nice work. I guess the device should be maintened at a defined temp when you will use it ?

so you inject a frequency in the antenna port ?? and tune low frequency and high frequency for one frequency maximum ?? so surely you're allowing say 431.000 as the low to pass fully but being allowed to pass fully in the high which should be say 439.00 how does it notch out the low ? or do you allow 431.00 in one side and 439.00 in the other both peaked for maximum ?? great construction but at 7.6mhz why not just buy a ready made unit for about £25 like i did.. although i require 1.6mhz i need a lot more notch..

You are correct I too wanted 1.6mhz split unfortunately this project is on hold at present my alloy stockist closed and have not been able to purchase further supplies this was done as an exercise in truth 6cavitys are needed for 1.6mhz split and diameter needs to be increased to 3inch or 75mm thanks for the comments
