The three piece rods just don't bend like a two piece. Carbon just cant bend enough with the short pieces. Lesson learned right there. Awesome fish and epic to have landed the handline jobby!. All round adrenaline filled day never to be forgotten. Well done guys!

Nah it's a tag with an ID number so if someone recaptures the fish they can read the information of the previous capture online, used a lot for scientific research. We tag the fish and release them

They were the biggest GT's I've seen landed in real life, the boys did an insane job getting either of them in especially hand lining Ryota's fish! Hahaha. Johan is the guy with the beard and his biggest fish before this was 5kg hahaha and not a GT, so this was his first GT ever! Well I don't know what it is but every time I go on a fishing trip I catch A LOT OF FISH!!! So now for me theres is a few more to come!
