I've been playing D2 ever since Forsaken. I was never able to play D1 when it was released because I didn't have a console. I got a PS4 two year ago and picked up the game last week since it's now available for that console, and let me tell you, that magical, mysterious feeling is real. For a while I thought it was just people being nostalgic, but it's absolutely real. The lighting, the colors, the music, the world-building, it all just comes together so freaking well.
