Brendan is such an inspiration to me, particularly because of mental health relatability and his compassionate/empathetic personality. It just kills me to hear his story about finding people to jam with and eventually starting a band, though. I want that so bad, but I’m so self-conscious and critical that I find that to even be a nearly impossible challenge. Wish I could do what he did. Anywho, great vid as per usssse, Cayem.

Love these podcasts/interviews, less structured. You can tell brendan is comfortable and enjoying this. The length gives so much more wiggle room than other interviews and brendan is one of a kind. Love him and the band. Thanks so much

This was an awesome interview. I pretty much got everything I wanted to know about the band and even some more insight with the House of Blues show I missed out on. Mad respect for calling out security. Brendan is also hilarious on and off stage and I'm happy to see the band prosper and am stoked for their future.

Never been able to get into Counterparts, but Brendan seems like a good dude. Would be a fun guy to have a beer with. May have to give their music another go.

They’re all amazing and reflective of every era. TBH Prophets is the only one I listen to now and find myself scratching my head at certain points but at the time it was pretty cutting edge. I wish more people were into The Current Will Carry Us because it was a departure into a lot of the shift of lyrical content with incredible moments and a “Raw” insight into what they’re about, which to my knowledge was the intention.

It’s fucking crazy to me that Brenden saw From First Last the same tour I saw them. I went and saw them at the glass house in Pomona. He Is Legend, Haste the Day and FFTL. One of my favorite experiences and I was only 6. Lol
