The season Arsenal finally broke the bank, Mesut Ozil brought his wizardry to North London. But he was outdone by a certain Welshman breaking through into the World Class Club. That Arsenal midfield was truly special- Arteta to provide the steel, Ox and Wilshire were the engines, Tomas, and Mesut provided the magic, and Santi and Rambo did a bit of everything. Also, Giroud was the perfect CF with his linkup play and strength on the ball. They managed to break our long trophy drought in dramatic style too, giving me and a whole generation of Arsenal fans their first taste of success as a Gooner.

Wilshere scored one of the best goals I have ever seen in my 18 years of watching football. The flicks between Cazorla, Giroud and Wilshere himself were out of this World and the finish brilliant as well. Cazorla's free kick against Hull to bring us back into the game was outstanding too but Wilshere's was by far the best in that season

Giroud turned losses into draws, and draws into wins with his goals and assists, all those enabled Arsenal to play in Champions League, ever since he was sold to Chelsea, Arsenal had not been close to qualify for UCL. Laczette and Aubameyang are better players individually comparing with Giroud, but Giroud created bigger impact than two of them put together.
