I feel like Funimation could make a genuinely hilarious dub for this show if they did it right. Nagai's humor is just crass/clever enough that American audiences could genuinely laugh at this despite Japanese culture's lack of sarcasm. Get a couple of good (maybe even famous) comedy writers to put a good script together with western cultural references to bridge the gap, it could really really work.

オススメでサムネを見てもしや、と思ったら大昔のわずかな記憶が残ってる作品でした。 デビルマンの、「く〜もの、いっと〜、かくてき、おお？」というセリフと女の子の「亀の肉美味しいね」というセリフやシレーヌとの戦闘シーンを微かに覚えてました。 大人になって見ると懐かしくもあり面白くもありますね。 あと覚えてるのは宇宙船で手招きしながら亀を呼ぶシーン。亀が宇宙船で呼吸をスーハーしてるシーンです。後編の記憶はほぼ無いので楽しみです。
