Thank you very much. I enjoy and subscribe to your channel. Very, very inspirational. In fact, it has me inspired to do an End of the Road Tour, which will include Canol North and Nahanni Range Road, to name two of the destinations. I do really like this area and was going to do Gang Ranch first, but I had done it in 2020 so figured, next time. Not sure if you heard but there was a big landslide by Farwell Canyon which I believe has closed the road for now until they get the water flow figured out.

This area is my favorite part of the province, I live in Kamloops and go out there lots in the summer. Great video, thanks.

Thanks for watching. I remember driving through Kamloops in about 1980 thinking, what a fantastic place for a bike like a WR250 or a 400 of sorts. Now I can see all the fantastic riding for all sorts of bikes there. You live in a beautiful part of the country and visiting the Lillooet area is spectacular.

I was west of Gang Ranch that day, arriving in 100 Mile House July 5. I was going to ride to Lillooet via the ferry, but I took the paved route due to mechanical concerns about my bike. Thanks for the video.

Thank you for watching. Hope everything is ok with your bike and you a back up and running securely. Have you done the Seton Portage and Highline route in the same area? If not, it would make a great trilogy: Gang Ranch, Big Bar Ferry, and Seton Portage / Highline. Our paths almost crossed.

Make sure to include: Gang Rand, this one, Seton-Portage and Highline, and Gold Bridge. Free camping at the BC Hydro site just about 6km south of Lillooet.

Did the Duffey on a loaded touring bicycle a couple years back. Can confirm that descent is the best highway in Canada. Nice technical hairpins, and a steep enough grade that I touched 80kph on the way down!

Not sure my legs would be good for the up part but the downs would be fun.

That looks like a great trip. I've done a few motorcycle camping trips through the Sierra Nevada and am looking forward to being in Calgary starting next year. My brother Dean and I are inspired to replicate some of your trips.

That sounds terrific. There is lots of great adventure and sport bike rides I have been doing for years. Perhaps I can do a ride with the two of you. My End of the Road tour, which is exactly what it says but not what it suggests, will be in 2025.

Great riding area. The plateau on the Pavilion Kelly Lake road will stop you dead if wet. Avoid at all costs in the rain. Gumbo that packs the tires and won't fling.

Also worth the ride up to Pavilion lookout just before you descend to Kelly Lake.

That is great intel. Yes that area looks like it would be a gumbo as there is not a solid gravel base. I was ground to a halt two weeks ago after just 200 m of gumbo. Took 45 minutes to get out and used my tire irons to keep cleaning the front fender. I should have simply removed the fender which is about 15 minutes. i will put the lookout on the must do list.

If you want to connect high line rd after this tour, it's only 5km each way back to Lilloet to get gas at the bottom of Pavilion rd ... Tks for the credit comment btw

You are welcome. Your intel was greatly appreciated and I have more follow up to do on other stuff you mentioned. I am pretty sure I saw a sign that there was gas in Seton Portage. I didn't see a station myself. That highway and route down to Seton Portage was great to ride as well. One of my best days of riding.

Did you spot any bears? I was in Grande Cache, AB on July 3rd and rode my KLX300SM up to Sulphur Gates at 7:30pm and had a close call with a black bear at the side of the gravel road. I could not stop so I had to ride around him. Always carry bear spray and keep it in an easy to reach spot on your bike. Nice country some of it looks like desert to me.

No bear encounters on this trip but I do carry bear spray. This is quite a ways from Grande Cache though. I would highly recommend riding Gang Ranch from Riske Creek to Clinton, this this route, followed by the High Line Road from Seton Portage.

Cool! I've been wanting to try this route but have heard about it from more hardcore offroad riders than myself. Wasn't sure if my CB500X or my skill set was up for it but seeing this video has made me excited. Too late this season, just got a puppy, but maybe I'll take him with me next year! ❤️🏍️🏕️🐶

I would add in the ride from Riske Creek through Farwell Canyon and gang ranch. 1 day. and the Seton-Portage and Highline route another day. They would be fine on a stock CB500X with knobby tires. I did them all with a TKC80 on the front and a TKC 70 Rocks on the rear. I carried about 30 lbs of tools with my gear back at the free B.C. Hydro campsite 6 km south of Killooet. I might not do the portion of Big Bar from Cougar Point with a puppy but our dog is a lab. I am sure I will return there next year when I see 5 good days of weather in a row.

I rode through Farwell Canyon last year! So beautiful. Went to a ranch in the chilcotin to learn to ride a horse then to Barkerville, Bella Coola and the ferry to Port Hardy! It's such a beautiful part of the world! I seem to ride through the interior but I'm going to explore it more next summer! My pup is a lil guy, we'll figure out a way to get him moto camping with me. Might be a lil desperate for some company 😂 Only ran shinkos cause I'm poor 😂 Did 805 knobbies last year and 705s this year. Seem a decent tire for the price! I'm one of those morons that doesn't carry much fix it kit. Beyond a tire plug, I'm pretty useless anyway. That's why I bought a Honda! 😅
