Don’t fall for the Tennessee hype. They had incredible 3 point defense for the first 20 games or so, and as you may know, 3 point defense is not something you can control. Thus, as they’ve returned to the mean, they have worse showing.

They didn’t collapse, rather they played an extremely backloaded schedule, with one of the worst strength of schedules the first 2/3 of the year, lose bad games and winning very close against terrible opponents. They’ve just returned to playing halfway decent teams, and as a result have been losing more.
