I’m American, from SoCal, raised with English grandparents in the home as well all my life, otherwise I wouldn’t be here! I’m a first generation American child actually, as my parents were born overseas. And being from California, I think I can truthfully say… the English-and most of the WORLD, actually-keep it real compared to Americans. But MORE people are fake and superficial, and just bitchy and vindictive, in America. And it’s in a way, like, they just don’t care about your feelings. Even if you THOUGHT THEY DID…surprise to you! 😡 🤯 😢 I can name endless situations. From petty things like, “omg let’s get lunch I miss you”, well, sure, I’m down. And then we never hang out again? What is that? If we’re not gonna hang out, don’t pretend. And if that’s too “intense” then so be it! It’s just BS. And that’s not even getting into the deeper shit, lying, cheating, conniving things. People in Europe act more mature than most Americans on average. Why else dk we have the highest drinking age? Cause we all act like idiots when drinking. Not saying they all act right in the Uk, def not, but for a country to even have a lower drinking age limit is a sign of maturity within the culture.
