Drones help volunteers in Switzerland save fawns | CBC Kids News

The Fawn Rescue Foundation in the Vaud canton of Switzerland is using drones to protect fawns from farm machinery. Every year between May and June, fawns are born right as the harvest begins. Since mother deer tend to leave their fawns in empty fields, this combination leads to many fawns being injured or killed by harvesting equipment.
