Awesome interview. I just watched, *Dazed and Confused*, a couple of days ago, and was struck by how well he had captured that moment in time for high school students. I'm looking forward to seeing what Linklater has done with the college years.

Absolutely love this film! It should not be thought of as a sequel to Dazed though. Very different feel. Phenomenal though.

really enjoying Shad on q, my only suggestion would be for him to give more interviews a satisfactory structure. The previous host (he who must not be named) was great at leaving you feeling like you'd gone on a journey with the interviewee and arrived at a natural conclusion, that's the only thing missing from an otherwise brilliant reboot!

Linklater never makes eye contact with his host. His verbal response is connected in a very direct way with questions asked by the host, and the host appears to be looking at his guest, ( not staring). Maybe Linklater is glancing at notes🤷‍♂️
