Nemahsis is this generation's best musical artist in every way. The music is beautiful. The lyrics are profound, authentic, and deeply moving. The visuals show such creativity and some of them bring us to tears. Every single song she produces, she does so with her whole heart. 28 minutes of sheer bravery, happiness, joy and poignancy. Thank you for interviewing Nemah! Hearing her voice tremble and her eyes well with tears and them holding back was so difficult to watch. Seeing her speak on such difficult experiences and still pushing through is nothing short of inspiring. I hope Nemah and her team are proud of themselves and know how as an audience, how enamoured we are of her courage to stand up against adversity, complicity and ignorance. The Abercrombie fashion bit made me laugh so much - I've been a fan of Nemah for about 2 years and went to her London show, the love Nemah has for storytelling and sharing fragments of her life is nothing short of magical. Being able to, just for a moment, to tap into her world of emotions and her lived experience is both terrifying but exciting. So much good has come out of her poignant lyricism and poetry and I hope that she can visit a free Palestine with safety, security and love in abundance. A fantastic interview and I really hope we get more track-by-track break downs of the songs in the run up to the album, when and IF, she feels comfortable!
