You Forgot It In People hasn’t aged a day. It’s timeless. It’s an album I will carry in my heart until I die.

What Kevin Drew says about the state of artistic endeavor today is very insightful.

Saw B.S.S. with Superchunk some years ago in Toronto. What a treat! 2 of my all time favorite bands in one show, so exciting!

If you hung around Queen Street West in the late 90s, you would see these guys, eg, used record shops

I don't think the band behind You Forgot It In People could break up ever

Another great interview Tom! It's funny the subject of phone pouches at live shows came up, as I'll be seeing Jack White in a few days at the Budweiser Stage in T.O. I'm fine with the idea but I'm more interested to see how other concert goers will react to the requirement of keeping their phones concealed. Also, I've been listening to Hug of Thunder (one of my favourite albums of 2017) a lot lately and had the pleasure of seeing B.S.S. for the first time last September. Looking forward to seeing them again later this month at the Ottawa Dragonboat Festival!

Dyllan Tyrril I thought hug of thunder was ok compared to forgiveness record. I got to see them live in Seattle and some dude was recording too much and the singer stopped the song and brought him on stage to embarrass him then took a selfie with him.

I never realized that Metric, Stars and Feist (as an artist) predated BSS. Neko Case and now this one, that's two fun interviews in a row.
