This is 1 of the best episodes of 80s Alfred Hitchcock. Cassidy plays a arrogant, rich jerk very well. Great twist ending.

Totally agree. I have never seen this one until now, and really enjoyed the twist. Extra bonus in seeing Shaun Cassidy again, as I was totally in love with both him and his brother David when I was little. Great singers and very passable actors. RIP David Cassidy - you are missed.
@@rem2267 Shaun was good in this. His mom (David's stepmom) Shirley Jones is now 88 yrs old. 💓🌺She and David loved being on "The Partridge Family" together. RIP David.🌹❤

Immature spoiled entitled me me me generation AKA the millennials who think everybody is “bullying” them. And their shit parents from my generation who bred them and raised them without any discipline. Ive never had nor wanted kids so I’m not to blame for them. May God help us all, our future with these lazy drug addicted worthless idiots in charge is doomed. I hope I don’t live long enough to see what horrors they do to this world. A better time indeed, when where I grew up the commercials came in sets of TWO and these two came BETWEEN the movies, NOT WITHIN. And let me emphesise a little: The maximum was TWO sets of commercials A DAY with only TWO lincenses given out nationwide to TV-stations for broadcasting commercials and the other TV-stations fully free of commercials. btw: Did anyone here also play the commercial quiz with friends as a child?

When the Dean fell and Dale thought ,mistakenly, that he was dead why didn't he just leave? Elderly people die from falls all the time. No body to get rid of problem solved. And even after the Dean regained consciousness he never would have known that he was almost murdered.
@staceykersting7054 жыл бұрын
Zactly. This whole story fell apart for me. Did I fall asleep in the middle? Doesn't make sense how he was set up by his g'friend or something, when he's def' the one who decided to murder him. Barring that, how did his gf discover the body?crime?
@mell63984 жыл бұрын
He was behind the curtain, so didn't see that the Dean had slipped and fallen. He wanted to get rid of the body because he didn't want there to be an investigation - with him having stolen the poison from the Dean's lab to kill him.

The character was obsessive and drunk with power and anticipation of money.

that was my first thought. But after some consideration, the student didn't know he dropped the vial and also hiding behind the shower curtain he wouldn't have known the guy slipped on the vial and had not taken the cough syrup. So he was thinking with the autopsy they would find the poison in his system.
