Power level is slowly being replaced by curated level caps (-5, -15, -20). It's conceivable that power level could be removed entirely at some point. Should that happen, some of these sunset weapons could be viable again.

Breachlight is probably the one I miss the most. Not the best by any means, but I had one with like 30K PvE kills on it because I just liked the feel and look of it so much

I really miss the trophy Hunter i still have my pvp and pve rolls the model was amazing and made it feel like i was using a barrett m82 with the reciprocating barrel it has good perks for its time and im hoping it returns one day.

Yes, I definitely remember the Stryker's sure-hand, I still have that sword and all the of the Black Armory weapons, I find it very hard to dismantle any of them since I grinded so hard to get them.

Bringing back lots of good memories here CB. Ether Doctor, Right Side of Wrong and Go Figure were brilliant at the time. The Forge weapons were all good but Ringing Nail and of course Hammerhead were god weapons to me. Patron of Lost Causes and Steelfeather Repeater were both amazing and one or the other was always in my inventory at the time. I had kept many of those weapons in my vault for ages, only deleting them as my vault was getting close to full over time.

My main two guns for all of shadowkeep since they came out were Patron of Lost Causes with rapid hit and vorpal for PVP, it was a surprisingly good all rounder, and Steelfeather Repeater with subsistence and surrounded for PVE, raining bullets nonstop on ads and as a titan main, throwing a few punches here and there.

I miss the Season of Dawn weapons the most, but Black Armory weapons are a close second. Steelfeather Repeater and Breachlight were always part of my loadouts back then. Perfect Paradox should be an exotic given its lore significance.

Was so happy when I got the curated roll for ringing nail to drop. Spent months trying haha. Stayed equipped. Only auto rifle to drop -High impact rounds -Rampage -Firefly -Range Mastered worked.

I still have my Kindled Orchid and have pulled it out for occasional PvP retro-runs and playing some older fixed-difficulty content like Garden of Salvation. And yes, it's that roll. If it were up to me, they'd add a weapon crafting station to the tower, and reintroduce the Forge weapons as part of the unlock quest. The only changes I'd make would be to include the forge-raid weapons (the No Feelings scout, Tempered Dynamo fusion rifle and Threat Level shotgun IIRC) as well. Or just bring back Scourge of the Past, because, y'know, sparrow race.

7:28 the cut and run scout is my favorite scout with a opening shot and rampage roll ( I still have it) and it just slew in the crucible, it still does. It retained the og rampage damage numbers like the huckleberry did so 2 taps are very common with it in crucible. Plus with its very comfortable zoom Stat it felt just as magnetic as the jade rabbit. I'm sad it got sunset. It never really deserved it.

On this topic of sunset weapons, I do miss a lot of them. I still have black armory and dawn weapons in my vault. I'm waiting to see how they can reprise these weapons. The black armory crafting system would work again but with the addition of having the option to enhance that weapon. It would have random barrels and perks and would just be grinding it out until you get your coveted roll. For others that have been sunset or in rotation for dares would be the return of the Eliksni quarter now renamed as "Coalition Quarter". This area would be bigger and have more vendors. Caital will have landed a cabal carrier adjacent to the Eliksni's area as they are now neighbors. Even see them socializing in Spider's bar. Caital, Mithrax and Spider would be vendors with Osiris being the advisor here as well as a vendor. Caital would sell chosen and risen gear with the addition reprised leviathan weapons now bearing her sigil, at least the ones that weren't reskined in as chosen weapons. Mithrax would sell splicer and plunder gear with the addition of tangled shore gear. Spider would have season of the hunt gear. And lastly, Osiris who would be selling gear from season of undying, (when it goes away after this long season) dawn, and Mercury gear that wasn't reprised in season of dawn with the possible addition of extra legacy trials weapons that have yet to be in rotation. I really miss right side of wrong and using my ringing nail as the beasts they were. And perfect paradox what just the KING.

Im actually still using Hush to this day. There's literally no other bow like it. A precision frame bow that can kill in two bodyshots in like 0,8 seconds. Plus insane accuracy

Forsaken was actually when we got LMGs back, though only the exotic Thunderlord, which was b4 Black Armory. The Festival of the Lost that year had a quest to get Thunderlord. So Black Armory was the first legendary LMG in D2.

Kill Clip + Rampage was on one of the Last Wish weapons before it was on Kindled Orchid, Transfiguration had it. Chattering Bone might have as well but I’m not sure about that one Another big set of sunset weapons are the OG Gambit weapons, they were awesome. Same with the Forsaken Iron Banner weapons, we got Roar of the Bear and Swarm of the Raven back but we’re missing stuff like Claws of the Wolf

The Doomsday gl was the first gl to roll with full court so it was a decent chase for a lot of ppl back then, even if it never became meta, mostly because 150s were meta at the time with autoloading rifts and Lunas and then Windago launched the season after.

I miss my Y1 Perfect Paradox. I took that thing with me everywhere on my hunter. Escalation, PvP, hell I think it was a part of my load out for Eater of Worlds. I also dearly miss the Forge weapons, namely the forge version of Balligant and Kindred Orchid

I have my suspicions that the Dawn weapons, or at least some of them, might come out in the space between Season of the Wish and Final Shape, but I really don't know for sure. I'd like to see some of the old raid weapons show up sometime, really, but I do like the look of the Curse of Osiris weapons a lot so it would be awesome to see them return.

Black Armory wasn't the first time we got killclip/rampage on a weapon. Last Wish in Forsaken had both Transfiguration and Techeun Force which could both roll killclip/rampage. But Kindled Orchid was the first, and currently only, handcannon to get that roll.

Ether Doctor is my most-missed weapon. Even now, after three years of not using it, it still holds the most kills of any weapon I've ever used since picking up the game at Forsaken. It wasn't a particularly remarkable gun by any stretch, but it was just good.

225,000 kills on my Midnight Coup. Started using it a week or two into Forsaken. Scouts were nerfed when forsaken launched.

I’m not sure if it counts as a seasonal weapon, but my biggest loss from sunsetting was my Last Hope. 100 stability, with feeding frenzy and multikill clip. Easily my most expensive gun, having spent over 10k shards at xur to try and get it and yet I got that roll from a Prime engram. Quickest 20k kills I’ve ever gotten on a weapon, but yet they sunset it shortly after. Big RIP

I still have my Worn side of Heaven, Misfit, Ether Doctor, and Thin Line in my vault, waiting for them to come back. these were the weapons that kept me in it. Same goes for love and Death GL, Tranquility Sniper, One Small Step, and Last Man Standing.
