Are the End Times Near? Dr. Michael Youssef on the Antichrist and Revelation

Are the end times upon us? That's the question pastor and author Dr. Michael Youssef is asking in his latest book, "Is The End Near?: What Jesus Told Us About the Last Days." And it's a curiosity many believers have when they look at the disorder and consternation in the world around us - the ever-streaming flow of chaotic events and happenings. Rather than speculate and postulate, though, Youssef said he wanted to rely on what Christ had to say on the matter. "I wanted to see what the lord Jesus himself said and really dig in deep, because [the disciples] asked him that question," he told CBN's Faithwire. Watch what the pastor has to say.

Good message. i just want to say that, whatever we DO for the Lord is not as valuable to Him as much as your relationship with Him. When I get closer to the Lord, and tune into Him, He gives me His clear inspiration which naturally inspires me, and naturally motivates me. It's a sudden "knowing" and you know without a doubt that it's His voice. Of course, the more you read and re-read His Word, the stronger the broadcast gets. The Lord doesn't get excited by your bursts of guilty energy (something which, at my age of 74, is dwindling) and trying to be please Him thru your own sweaty activity, but rather through your desire to get to know Him better. He loves that. You have to calm down and get quiet. "Be Still and know that I am GOD..." Then you'll hear Him.

Yes, there will be but I do NOT see that ( greatest harvest of souls ) prior to The Rapture. Yes, I do believe in the Pre Trib Rapture. God showed me that He is real, 30 years ago. EDIT: I found out recently that this actually happened in August of 1991. I asked God for the actual date and something I said to a witness of the event prompted them to look and they found it in their old study Bible. I was at a Pentecostal youth camp. After the service, there was a call for people to come to the alter to pray. I went up. Many people laid hands on me. I was sincerely repenting to God. I had experienced a childhood of extreme abuse and severe neglect. As I was praying, the Holy Spirit consumed me into the light, removing me from my human vessel. I was in the light for over an hour while the Holy Spirit took over my body and sang, danced, ran, spoke in another language and who knows what else with several hundred other teenagers and adults worshiping the Lord. I wasn't there to see that 1-2 hours. I only know because I was told after. Eventually, I woke standing in front of two friends from my church. I couldn't hear them or anything else at first but could see them giggling at me. Eventually, I could hear again but it was muffled. I couldn't understand the words they were saying. It slowly became less muffled until it was clear. I couldn't understand the words I was saying either, because it wasn't English. No matter how hard I tried, the words that left my brain came out of my mouth in a foreign language. I was so confused in that moment. It was as if God had somehow changed the entire audio track of myself and everyone around me. After a few minutes, I was back to normal and I was very confused. Since then, He has shown me much. This world is in real peril. He's very disappointed. I suggest to everyone who reads this that you repent and ask for God's forgiveness. He is quite real and He is displeased with many of you. He loves you and wants to have a personal relationship with you, like He has had with me all of my life, even before I was spiritually reborn. There is a spiritual war going on and humanity has strayed far from the path that He laid out for us, as He knew we would.

This frigidity or coldness began back in the sixties. I am 76 and have been watching this apostasy grow and grow and grow. I also rejoice seeing the second coming is going to be much sooner than I thought. The Bible tells us that "this generation shall not pass away until all these things come to pass". That is the generation of the Baby Boomers!! I am excited because I have lived for him since I gave Him my life at the age of fourteen. The Word says HE will finish the work HE has started in us (Phil. 1:6). Be repentant, ask Him to search your heart and see if there is anything you need to repent of, try to change your ways, but also trust Him that HE is your strength and Romans tells us that we are truly dead to sin. (Romans 6) Get into the Word every day, ask Him to lead you to a church where HE is truly LORD, where the Word is taught correctly, where the pastor is led by the Holy Spirit and where you are getting fed. Seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness FIRST. There is more grace in the world than sin, so ask God to keep your heart pure and clean. God will do the rest. REST IN HIM. He will do everything else. Study the scriptures about REST in the book of Hebrews. That changed my life.
