Yes, yes, yes, preach it, Rosario! Many, if not most, American churches have stripped "repentance" out of the equation, which is completely anti-Christian. Repentance is core to Biblical Christianity. The Word of God is not emphasized much, either, in many churches today. GOD HELP US!

very important interview! I have very similar experiences in my live like Rosaria. We even organize next year here in Germany retreat for people with lgbt and unwanted homosexual feelings people. "Repentance into life" does not mean to stop sinning and be saved, however, it is a sanctification that follows and looks different for everyone. Some translations have incorrectly said "repent FROM your sins" wrong, wrong, wrong. The salvation question is in focus, how do you get saved? The meaning of the word is that your mindset should change about HOW you are saved and receive forgiveness. It only happens through faith in Jesus as your savior. Rethink, and get eternal life. "He that believeth in me shall live, though he die" said Jesus.

As believers, it is not our job to judge outsiders regarding certain things, such as sexuality. We can fight against the views of unbelievers on the political front for what we believe is right, but then we probably shouldn't use the Bible as a basis outwardly. But, WITHIN the congregation (and family) of believers we should rebuke today's sexual confusion on biblical grounds.

These aren't "new" issues really. Yes, we have to watch what our kids are reading or consuming, (aswell as ourselves) but ultimately they will make their own decisions as they get older. Being a born-again Catholic with a profound conversion 16 years ago during a pilgrimage, I am finding this segment fascinating because I have a firm conviction on the sacredness of marriage and the sanctity of life from conception to natural death. God intervened to save my marriage at the darkest moment of my life, having led a life of promiscuity. The prodigal son story has come alive for me, and I connect with Mary Magdalene and Augustine, who went from being the greatest sinners to saints.
